The Saffron Party on Sunday released its fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls fielding Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil .
Kangana Ranaut will be fighting from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh and Arun Govil from Meerut constituency in Uttar Pradesh respectively.
The actress was born in Bhambla near Manali, which is in the Mandi district.
Kangana took to microblogging site X and said she was โhonoured and elated to officially join the partyโ.

The actress said in an X post. Last year, Kangana Ranaut had hinted at entering politics, saying if Lord Krishna blesses her, she would contest the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
Arun Govil
Arun Govil, who is already a member of the BJP since 2021, is best known for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagarโs classic television show Ramayan on Doordarshan.
He has also acted in a number of Hindi movies. He will next be seen in the role of Lord Vitthal in the Hindi movie Sant Tukaram, where well-known Marathi actor Subodh Bhave will be the titular role.
