Dunki’s New Year Triumph
As the curtains rose on the 12th day of Dunki’s theatrical run, aligning with the New Year’s celebration, the film showcased its financial prowess by amassing an impressive Rs 9.25 crore nett in India. While this figure may stand lower in comparison to SRK’s prior cinematic venture, Jawan, which secured Rs 16.25 crore on its second Monday, Dunki still managed to outshine the initial success of his blockbuster, Pathaan (Rs 8.55 crore), a film that eventually crossed the monumental Rs 1,000 crore mark worldwide. The New Year not only brought joyous festivities but also marked Dunki’s continued dominance at the box office, setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead.
